Pride of Workmanship is an approved Rotary project instigated in 1975 by the Rotary Club of Pennant Hills (Australia, District 9680).  The Chesterville Rotary Club is proud to present their fifth annual "Pride of Workmanship" program in partnership with the North Dundas and South Dundas Chambers of Commerce, Winchester Bank of Montreal and MB Foster.

The Pride of Workmanship Program enables managers in our society to help employees achieve the goal of job satisfaction, and publicly recognize them for their efforts.

Participating businesses promote the Pride of Workmanship theme of "Do it once- do it well" throughout their organization and nominate employees worthy of recognition, not only within the organization, but the wider community. Nominees of the Pride of Workmanship Program are presented with a trophy in recognition of their achievements.

New this year, in addition to company sponsored awards, is a Consumer Choice Award where the general public can nominate a company, department within a company or an individual that they feel delivered service above and beyond what they could reasonably expect. This award will allow smaller companies and individual proprietors be recognized and in larger companies allow unsung and unrecognized hero’s to be found.
